Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4

Peugeot goes where no brand has gone before. The new car is a hybrid diesel, with a 2.0-liter four mated to an electric motor. The combined torque is a whopping 368 lb-ft, and luckily that gets to the ground via AWD. No, sorry, the French are not planning to come back to the U.S., but diesel hybrids should have a bright future because of the major torque potential and the already impressive fuel economy of diesel engines.
